Springs Taxpayers United Annual Donation Drive

Dear El Paso County Taxpayer,

We’re reaching out to supporters of Springs Taxpayers United 501(c)(3) for our 2025 End of Year Fundraising Drive.

Springs Taxpayers United fights for you on a daily basis. We keep a close eye on the local government’s wasteful spending of your tax dollars.  They work for you- not the other way around. Unlike many nonprofits, we don’t rely on taxpayer funds. We rely only on voluntary donations from our supporters.

This year, we played a part in the recent Karman Line Annexation ballot issue, advising the opposition group that worked to get the matter on the ballot. Voters overwhelmingly told developers and the city council that citizens are tired of unrestrained, irresponsible growth.

We worked on our biggest project to date- an examination of the taxpayer funds poured into Colorado Springs to support illegal immigrants living here. We found $11 million was given to two local non-profits to financially support the illegal immigrants with living expenses and healthcare. We’re the only local media that looked into the taxpayer abuse.

Over the past year:

  • We’ve attended and recorded numerous public meetings and shared them on the “Springs Taxpayers United” YouTube channel. Our recordings have assisted many neighborhoods. Also, city council members watch our videos to make important decisions.
  • We’ve written many original articles. Without us, many issues would never come to light!
  • We worked with a Daily Wire national reporter to shed light on critical emails that public servants were sending behind the scenes concerning the mayoral race hate crime hoax.
  • We send out a weekly newsletter to thousands, keeping citizens informed about the government’s missteps and poor spending habits.

If you’d like to contribute, there are a few options. You can make your check out to “Springs Taxpayers United” and return it using the enclosed envelope. Please include your name and address so we can send you a thank-you note and receipt. You can also find our donation page at “SpringsTaxpayersUnited.com,” if you prefer to donate electronically. A thank-you note will be emailed for electronic donations.

We love the work we do. It’s critical that we have funding to continue our mission.

Merry Christmas!
