This is chilling to say the least. There is a reason why 12 people are running for mayor: the status quo is not acceptable. I wish I was wrong, but I don’t think I am. If we the people can over come this remains to be seen.
I will not be voting for Wayne Williams, Sallie Clark, Tom Strand, Daryl Glenn, or any pro-developer candidate.
I’ll be voting for Darryl Glenn. He is the only one I really trust to carry us forward wisely and not part of what I call the “machine.” We need a mayor who understands that we need to first take care of some serious problems here in the Springs before foolishly doing things that cannot be sustained! It would be nice to see people really look into these things and seriously consider who would be best, but I fear there are too many voters out there that do not do their due diligence in vetting the candidates and take this election seriously.
I voted for the only candidate that makes sense and I feel is trustworthy enough to represent the people’s interest and not the developers. Mr Gonzalez.
