2023 End of Year Fundraising Drive

We’re reaching out to supporters of Springs Taxpayers United 501(c)(3) and SpringsTaxpayers.com 501(C)(4) for our 2023 End of Year Fundraising Drive.

We’re asking for your support, as the new year approaches. Springs Taxpayers United fights for you daily. We catch many of the shenanigans in El Paso County and keep a close eye on the local government’s wasteful spending of your tax dollars.

SpringsTaxpayers.com played a part, too, in the recent election wins for taxpayers. We were part of the coalition to protect the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR) when it went under assault with Prop HH.

Additionally, we shared articles and information about ballot issue 2A. This was Mayor Mobalade’s scheme to take your TABOR refunds for a police academy but came with no clear plans. We were there to catch every inaccuracy they tried to spread and questioned the lack of transparency about a telephone poll about the police academy. The ballot issue was defeated!

Over the past year:

  • We’ve attended and recorded numerous public meetings and shared them on the “Springs Taxpayers United,” YouTube channel. Our recordings have assisted many neighborhoods throughout the county.
  • We’ve written over 30 articles this year, exposing wasteful spending by El Paso County, the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs Utilities, and local school districts.
  • We’ve shared city council and mayor candidate surveys with readers. Isn’t it important to know where candidates stand when it comes to spending your hard-earned money?
  • We send out a humorous and snarky weekly newsletter to thousands, keeping folks informed about issues that will impact them financially. We’re your eyes and ears.

If you’d like to contribute, there are a few options. You can make your check out to, “Springs Taxpayers United,” and mail it to:
